Series Points are SEPARATE for 5K and 10K races. 5K results cannot be transferred to the 10K and visa versa. You must run a minimum of 3 races at a specific distance to be eligible for SERIES Awards at that distance. Your best 4 races at that distance will count for Series Awards.
Series Points are awarded to the top 10 overall finishers, and to the top 10 age-group finishers, for each of the five series events.
Points will be awarded as follows for each race:
| First Place | 25 |
| Second Place | 22 |
| Third Place | 20 |
| Fourth Place | 18 |
| Fifth Place | 16 |
| Sixth Place | 15 |
| Seventh Place | 14 |
| Eighth Place | 13 |
| Ninth Place | 12 |
| Tenth Place | 11 |
Only the best 4 out of 5 races at a specific distance (5K or 10K) will count for each athlete for the series championship [you can 'throw out' one race]. Ties will be broken by the better finish at the series championship race — the Luck of the Irish Run — in March.
You must participate in at least 3 events AT A SPECIFIC DISTANCE (5K or 10K) to be eligible for series awards.
